Nicholson Bridge

One hundred years ago the Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad opened their Lackawanna Cut Off project. This project included the construction of massive railroad bridge in Nicholson, Pa. The Nicholson Bridge is something to behold.

To mark this milestone I have gathered together the coverage of the opening of the span from the Nov. 6, 1915 edition of the Scranton Times.
